Chiranthodendron pentadactylon
Chiranthodendron is translated from Greek as a "tree with human hands". This is due to the similarity of the inflorescence with the wrists of human hands. Thanks to its appearance, it was nicknamed "the devil's hand" or "the hand of a monkey". These flowers grow on trees that can reach up to 30 m in height, and the diameter of the trunk can grow to 200 cm. Most often, the Chiranthodendron grows in southern Mexico and Guatemala.
